New Executive Director, Jami Russell, CFRE
CASA – Children Worth Saving
Clark, Comanche, Ford, Gray, Kiowa, and Meade
Jami has over 25 years of experience working with and in nonprofit organizations. Her career has focused on helping social service agencies, including food pantries, domestic violence organizations, and sex trafficking groups, make a deeper impact for underserved women and children. In 2008, she founded a nonprofit consulting company that specialized in grant writing, fundraising and program design. Through this company she had the privilege to work with over 200 nonprofit organizations across the United States. In 2022, Jami sold her consulting company to return to direct service. She spent three years developing food distribution programs in South Dallas, an area plagued by severe and systemic generational poverty, drug use and gang violence. After growing the organization to serve over 34,000 people, the place-based work was returned to the community and is now led by a member of the neighborhood. In 2025, Jami is excited to begin a new chapter of her life in Dodge City, Kansas.
