There is no such person as a “typical” CASA. All of our volunteers come to this work with their ownset of skills and talents. One of our long-time volunteers is Linda Hessee.
She completed her training in December of 1995 and has accepted many children’s cases over the years. Linda is an outstanding volunteer child advocate, who is dependable and responsible. She is a good listener and is non-judgemental in her relationships with the child, the child’s family, and the professionals involved in her assigned cases. She brings good instincts, kindness, and lots of commonsense to her advocacy work.
