Karen and Leon Boden
Karen and Leon Boden, residents of Jewell County, have been CASAs since September of 2002 and have been assigned to cases in Cloud,Mitchell and Jewell Counties. During their nine years as CASAs, they have been assigned to eleven children, one of them for six years! They stayed with this one child until he graduated from High School, helping to convince him to stay in custody past his 18th birthday so he would finish his senior year.

Blue Pinwheel Distribution for Child Abuse Awareness Month - Apr 05, 2012 7:00 PM
Join with CASA volunteers and board members as we "plant" blue pinwheels along main street in downtown Concordia. Meet in front of Tom's Music House to get your pinwheels and be back at Tom's at 5:30 for the Light of Hope Vigil. Show your support of the fight against child abuse - help us paint the town blue!
Light of Hope Vigil - Apr 05, 2012 7:30 PM
Join us for our First Annual Light of Hope Vigil, a time to recognize that we each can play a part in promoting the social and emotional well-being of children and families in our community. Thursday, April 5th at 5:30 PM in front of Tom's Music House. Blue ribbons and blue pinwheels will be available to help bring awarness to National Child Abuse Awarness & Prevention Month.
Dodgeball Tournament - Apr 28, 2012 11:00 AM
It's our first annual Dodgeball Tournament. Contact us at nckcasa@cloudcountyks.org for more information. Divisions will be: Families with children 8-12; Families with children 13-17; youth 8-12; youth 13-17; adults 18 and above.
